Braddock : Missing in Action 3 1988. Again this uses the tash to depict a younger Norris however the scene in which it is used has a story element which contradicts the previous two films. The scene is also the key scene of the plot meaning the whole story contradicts the previous installments. Nevertheless it has great action and an incredible finale making for a decent classic 80s action movie.
Missing in Action 2 : The Beginning 1985. I would argue this one is slightly better than the first due to the entirety of the film being set in the Vietnam jungle and a solid villain. Think this is the first time they use Norris sporting a tash and dropping the beard to portray his younger self which is then used in every film that depicts a younger Norris in a flash back.
Missing in Action 1984, one of Norris's more notorious films mainly due to having a Rambo-esque plot. Solid frequent action here and the scene where Norris appears to be dead before emerging from the water with his gun is one of the best scenes in movie history.
Lone Wolf McQuade 1983, the first film where Norris really hits the ground running and establishes himself as a true action hero. Thank christ the god damm fucking beard is finally present, the beard that accounts for 50% of his badassery the other 50% being his roundhouse kicks. The opening and final acts were amazing overall, solid Norris outing.
