Visually striking and a brilliant concept on the arrow of time. However, as story telling goes it lacks drama despite the high stakes. The film is confusing and after a while you just don't want to spend the mental effort of trying to understand it.
Warning. This is a very difficult watch. I had to walk away a few times. I was once in Tijuana, where I came across a brothel right next to an elementary school. Yes this world is fucked up. This film was like that. The young actors were almost too good playing their roles.
Excellent period piece. Woody and Kevin are great as always. I disagree with the criticisms that B&C are hardly featured. The film is about the two rangers hunting down outlaws unknown to them. Further it establishes through third characters that B&C were celebrity outlaws. So there was no need to make the story of the outlaws a focus.
A big improvement over the last 3 crummy T movies. It's sort of a uninspired reboot of the original/T2. Same plot but now without the predictability and surprises. While there are some decent action sequences, the film is also fairly dull after the first half hour. Good to see Linda and Arnold though.
