"comedy" set out to make fun and undermine the achievements of the communist revolution. It sucks.
A good film showing the abuse perpetrated by white cathos and the lack of justice in the democratic "america". A slap to the face of those who think the Catolic church perpetuates socialist values. But, I feel like the theme of abuse is not explored enough, why not talk about the Franklin scandal ? The multicultural children kidnapped and kept as sexual slaves to powerful whites ? Kid of a shame it is so short sighted, It's made from whites to the white Oscar judges. This is a step forward, even if the all white cast is kind of depressing.
A very beautiful film about the innocence of a man condemned because he was an Arab in France. Too bad it took 20 years to pledge his innocence.
Some funny moments in this, but the film is filled with cliches about the Portuguese, who are all Bricklayers and their wives concierges ... The exploitation of immigrants by the French is well shown but we present this community as the "good" immigrants who let themselves be exploited ("that's what we like" says a character) and let their daughter get fucked by the son of the boss. Do not dream, this immigration is over!
If you want to believe that the exploited illegal immigrants dress in Chanel and that they lead their lives in ivory castles in the fashionable nightclubs, this "film" full of racist cliches on the Moroccans is made for you then.
