I'm unable to give this movie less than half a star. Can the powers that be in Hollywood (other than Katt Williams) please recognize that Tiffany Haddish isn't funny. She has had struggles in her life which she's overcome but, she's still not funny. Perhaps she'd be better suited in dramas or some roles where the script isn't at all adapted to her own personality... The only reason I started watching this was for Rose Byrne and Salma Hayek but, they couldn't save this movie from the absolute and utter trainwreck that it is.
Action sequences in this movie are insane. This isn't meant to be an Oscar lovey-dovey touchy-feely someone in the movie is struggling with homosexuality type of movie. This is just all out entertainment, with enough emotion to not make it a B-grade movie but, also if you've ever played a pubg game, you're going to love this a lot.
Imagine a sequel to Braveheart that's taken 2 decades to be released. Imagine all that work that would go into such a sequel. This is not that. This is someone trying to profit off the Braveheart popularity and Netflix's lack of quality control.
Best Bad Boys movie so far. I'd have to really nitpick to find flaws with this one. The characters are more complex, there are moments of emotion but, they don't lose the high-speed nature that Bad Boys movies are known for. Awesome!
The strength of this movie is in its production and great cast.
The weakness is it's storyline in my opinion. BUT, in its defence, you couldn't do much more with the story given the way it was being told.
The focus is more on the characters' (often unspoken) emotional journey, than the war going on around them and it's action
I gave this movie 2.5 stars because, I don't know how to feel about it.
Most of the cast do an excellent job but, sometimes the movie almost randomly becomes depressing.
I usually avoid watching anything with Scarlett Johansson in it, and true to form, her role in the movie was the most poorly written (and acted).
This is some good old light-hearted entertainment.
With all the "dramadies" that's come out lately, it's nice to just watch a movie that's meant to be fun.
I loved this movie and it's sequel.
Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes drag this movie down. At no point do you care at all about the characters and the poor acting doesn't help. Linda Hamilton and Arnold are the ONLY good things about this movie but, wait until it's available on TV to watch.
