Not enjoyable but had its moments. Would not subject anyone to that movie
I excellent character development and on onscreen chemistry. Tackled interesting issues in a neat package
Dude I acc love this movie holy moly. The plot, characters and comedy. I was literally bursting out laughing and the next moments I'm really feeling for these characters and their stories. The animation and voice acting is so well done that you just can't help but feel a wide range of emotions from utterly helpless and sad for a character to finally happy triumph. Megamind has some many subversions of expectations from cliches in movies that I think it deserves a watch for its originality. Megamind tells a very enjoyable tale and has some nice lessons. Also romance side plot is so well done that it just pulls at your heart strings and grabs your attention along the way. I really wanna see more out of the main romance. Honestly, I think Megamind was way ahead of its time for a Superhero movie and I can't do it justice for how good it is. Probably one of my Top 5 favourite movies and definitely best animated movie.
Yikes, what they do to Artemis Fowl. Lack luster story, condensed with nonsensical plot points and characters with weird pacing. It feels like they had along story to tell and chopped it up to the point where there is no story worth watching anymore. In addition, CGI is pretty choppy here or there and sometimes it looks good but most times its gross. Not worth the watch even as a fan of the series
Honestly I found it interesting the length people would go to in order to improve their size and I think this should be viewed as more of a narrative journey about love and self acceptance rather than an evidence based documentry.
While I personally liked Patrick, I can see where criticisims about his narcissistic personality comes into play. Other criticisms were that it was staged and I honestly have no idea either but it was enjoyable and you shouldn't come into this expecting to go into depth about society, psychology, and science surrounding the topic.
