Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
How did I not see Crazy Rich Asians until now? I've got free HBO until midnight so I'm gonna just watch it again real quick.

The White Tiger (2021)
If you judge films by how long you're left thinking about them after, then this is a 5 star film for you.

Year One (2009)
It's dumb. But the perfect dumb-funny I was looking for just now. Star packed. Sort of a silly Forest-Gumpy romp through ancient times with a charismatic cast who made it fun.

American History X (1998)
Still thinking about it the next day means it meaningful enough for 5 stars.

The Lost City of Z (2016)
I enjoyed it but I'll barely remember this movie in 2 weeks. It's not special but I just love the exploring Amazon genre, especially if it includes even a hint of based-on-a-true-story. Charlie Hunnam did a decent job in lead. None of the other characters had deep meaningful roles, at least not until the very last segment with his son. Four stars because I love the genre and hope for more exploring-the-amazon movies (but maybe a bit deeper).

Won't You Be My Neighbor? (2018)
Must see. Then watch repeatedly as needed. Today could use a Fred Rodgers.
