Wooooooooow. I enjoyed this movie a lot. I thought it was a lot of fun from beginning to end. The characters are really good, the songs are really memorable, and the special effects are truly dazzling, all of that stuff were awesomely new. A guy who played Aladdin, well that's Mena Massoud. He's a Canadian, and he did a great job, and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine was also did a great job as well. The special effects: Abu was still cute, Magic Carpet was still memorable, and of course, as for the Genie, I thought he was extremely hilarious. Will Smith did an incredible job getting some energy and do all of his whole thing and says some funny lines and he literally makes me laugh a couple of times. Jafar... was okay. He's not a bad as you thought he was. Now I loved the original "Aladdin" as a kid, and it was fascinating. My favorite song, really, was "A Whole New World". It makes my heart so calm and with a smile on my face. If I haven't seen other Disney Remakes after the animated versions already came out, I'll probably watch them this weekend. I really enjoyed the remake of "Aladdin" more. A marginal thumbs up for me.
Aladdin (2019) 3.5/4 👍👍
I liked "Jumanji".
Now I know that a lot of people had a mixed reviews for this movie because it's a retread of some other Marvel films, like "Iron Man", "Thor: Ragnarok", and so fort. But I thought this was awesome. Extremely awesome. The action sequences were great, the special effects was impressive, and the sci-fi was probably over-the-top, but it's okay. Brie Larson is really good as Carol Danvers. She's a quite interesting main character. Her acting is underrated, but she did a nice job. And Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury is really hilarious as well. I think this movie is a better one than people give credit for it in my opinion. I enjoyed "Captain Marvel" a lot much like "Wonder Woman" and "Alita: Battle Angel", and I could give credit to Brie Larson for being as a tough, blonde, kiss ass female character.
I freakin' enjoyed this movie. Now "Rotten Tomatoes" had a mixed reviews by critics, some had 60%, and others had 35%. But the audiences had 94% and praised a lot. I gotta say, I really enjoyed this movie. It reminds me of "Astro Boy". The special effects worked quite well, the action sequences was pretty action-packed. I'm starting to like Alita. She's a fine tough teenager, half-human, half-robot, and also a pain in the ass. There's some of the things, her body was plastic, and then a imaginos body as she did all of her stunts. But one thing I would add, I liked her eyes. I don't know if anyone who complained about her eyes, but I thought it was really realistic and beautiful, almost like E.T. She cried when her tears comes out. I was so fascinated when I was this film, and I could congratulate Robert Rodriguez for did a excellent job. I also want to say that Rosa Salazar was really good and I praised for her performance. A marginal thumbs up for me to "Alita: Battle Angel".
