classic movie... college humor flick, but it's awesome.
just rewatched it.. it's a modern classic, won't get any movies like these anymore. hillarious but realistic view on teen sexual curiousity and frustration.
what's with the rating, this is one of my favorite movies of all time.. it's hillarious!!
movie was awesome! thrilling, suspenseful, awesome visuals and directing, story was awesome.. however, for some reason I couldnt stand Emily Moss' character, not sure if it was the acting or the character itself.. some moments were awkward esp in scenes when it was a close up of her just staring at the camera for 5-10 secs.. other than that it was great..
it's a very clever and original movie.. with central themes and messages that run through it like a piece of literature! you hardly see movies like this in Hollywood, where the genres/story archetypes are recycled over and over again... where it's usually period pieces, biopics... on the other hand this is so clever and entertaining, well-shot, great acting... it definitely deserves the Oscar.
watched this movie so many times back in highschool... its sooooo funny, watched it over so many times. love it.
am i missing something? the acting was not good at all.. in many parts you could feel like they were reading from a script, uncharacteristically Mary Winstead's (Huntress) acting seemed unconvincing, Ewan seemed a bit like he was trying too hard as well. Also the quality of the picture, the lighting and tone.. it just didnt seem very sharp, all the colors were good.. but something seemed off about the detail of the visuals.. Joker's visual detail was amazing, but here it just seemed bland.. I'm not referring to the cinematography as a whole, but just the tones and lighting felt kind of off for some reason.. wasn't really feeling the flow of the story either. I loved Joker, Wonder Woman.. but I couldn't really get into to this.
awesome movie... really well acted, well shot, amazing visuals, a very intriguing story... loved it so much.
really entertaining and very thrilling... really keeps on edge from the beginning till the end, but godammit they really shouldve added more story + character development + background.. nonetheless it's super fun.
Just watched this on Netflix.. starts off okay and then gets worse.. it's like a bad 90s action movie, many things didnt make sense, (despite the great cast) the acting was really bad and the scenes didn't flow at all.. it's just bad directing imo.
just catched this on HBO.. this was released in 2004? feels like a good 90s drama... its so gooddd!!! they dont make movies like this and they never will anymore.. its so good.
Daisy Ridley (Rey) was SO good in this.. and the climax was insane.... awesome.
this was a great movie, one of the best action/cop movies ive seen in years.. really keeps you at the edge of your seat.... even my wife (who doesnt really like these type of movies) really liked it too.... watch it in the theatres, the sound mixing (sound of guns, crashes, punches etc) really hits you in the face...
ummm.. does female empowerment mean discrediting men.... the moment where the angels said it's okay, don't feel guilty about killing a male civilian kinda just settled it..... the whole movie was just shoving feminism down the throats of the audience, the concept of Charlie's Angels in itself is female empowerment there was no need to do that.
never fails to make me laugh, it's the best one! it's so funny!!
awesome and so original! better than the second!
it's funny and super entertaining.. but I feel like they tried to make it more "commercial", just had a big blockbuster movie vibe with a lot of corniness... the first was better in my opinion...
Isn't it strange that this movie's critic score is at 76... yet it won an Oscar for best film. Yeah critics know everything don't they *rolls eyes*
This movie should make you think twice about how to treat others... and also how to treat those with mental illness... its message is so powerful and emotive... this is just the truth, how do we handle all those broken souls who end up doing bad things? what of this 'work on the mental health' solution that Trxmp always goes on about? really... where's the nationwide mental health campaigns? this movie is raw and it's honest.. I can see why critics are banding together to give it a shxt review.. cuz they fear it.. but people not being able to handle the truth, is part of the problem. This movie is amazing, go watch it.
the lead actress, the bride.. samara weaving's acting is horrible.. her shrieking was very annoying and her acting in general was bad.. they shouldve used Margot Robbie.. anyways concept is good but execution was bad.. it almost felt B-movie ish .. wish Jordan Peel or Quentin directed this....
