Endgame is truly magnificent. This film is not only the the most emotional and visually stunning MCU movie, but it also leaves fans and non fans alike with something close to a relaxed mind. Avengers Endgame is unpredictable, and it truly surpasses your wildest expectations. This is a film that has been more anticipated than every other Marvel film in history, and let me tell you something, it lives up to the hype. This film brings together an amazing ensemble of actors that have not only become their character, but have also made us feel that no other person could ever replace them. No film I have ever seen made me feel the way this movie did, and while fans will catch more of the references than non fans, everyone will enjoy this movie, because it is truly and exciting, emotional and endearing film that will not leave you disappointed.
Venom is a complete disappointment. There is not one moment during the movie that I laughed or that I heard someone else in the theater laugh. The action sequences were incredibly bland and Venom himself was made very poorly. The 112 minutes of gags and eye rolling, you will find yourself hoping that here isn't a second installment in this dying Sony franchise. Marvel movies are usually very entertaining and action packed, but Venom will leave you wondering if Tom Hardy even has a shred of dignity as to not participate in such a noisy and boring film!
Show Dogs is everything a horrible movie could be, horrible, unfunny and, well, just plain weird. The evolution of animal movies has been getting better but with Show Dogs on that list, it has dropped back down to zero. People of all ages will learn to appreciate good movies, but with this kind of film lets be grateful that there are other films in the world.
Hotel Transilvania is a series with its peaks and its flaws. To be honest, the third addition to this series is not very entertaining. It has its moments but all in all, of the few fans this franchise has, they will be disappointed. I also believe if this film had been handled by a more professional company (sorry Sony), especially after Sonys failures (The Emoji Movie, The Surfs, etc.), it could have been a decent film.
Game Night delivers the dark-comedy that audiences were hoping for, while delivering a not quite family-friendly, yet thrilling film.
