Immersive and visually stunning. Best film of 2019.
I literally fell asleep less than halfway through the movie and woke up at the closing credits. You can't get much more boring (and less entertaining) than that.
Wonderful in so many ways. An enigmatic western full of mysterious characters and incredible acting.
In the simplest terms - a disappointment compared to the first movie. The kids liked it snd it was a kid movie so I guess that is ok, but adults will find it dull and contrived and silly - in a bad way. I was so bored that I fell asleep during the middle of the movie for 20 minutes.
Seems promising at first with some excellent performances especially by Matt Weiss and Sara Kennedy. Be on the lookout for these two talented actors in the future. The problem is that the writers started off with a blatant clone of Fargo: small town, intuitive female Sheriff, mysterious murder - and then it never pays off. There are a few surprises that keep your interest but in the end the movie, and its ending, with far too much formula and a lack of originality, leave you feeling empty - like you were tricked into wasting your time watching it.
