This movie is damn emotional and funny as well intelligent, but above all, it exalts all the movies, it shows why they are so special. So... Please, be kind and rewind this excellent movie.
Just pause the movie at any time, you'll see that you will have an amazing desktop background, and that's because every single frame of the movie is a piece of art. Every single frame is animated with such an effort and intelligence that provides the spectator a truly magnificent view of the story.
And continuing with the soundtrack, what can I say, combined with the artistic work makes breath taking scenes, and more than ninety percent of the scenes are breath taking.
And now the story, the brilliant story, its relatively true that it didn't reach its whole potential, but if you have a movie that makes you feel happy or makes you cry, I don't know what else you want.
A solid master piece.
The Tatami Galaxy was great, this is amazing too. The whole setting and plot created in both series is one of absolute uniqueness and randomness. Al the scenery, the backgrounds and the perfectly detailed work of animation that Yuasa has reached is just so fantastic.
But we can talk about the visual aspects, but they would be nothing without the story, is amazing. You know when you are watching something good, something especial when the work you watched could make you feel something, and this masterpiece surely does! Wheter the play scenes, or the dream at the very end of the movie, I am pretty sure that made not only me get excited or just happy.
For this resons I consider almost every Yuasa works to be really fantastic, and this is no exception.
