´Herˋ is such an amazing movie for a lot of reasons, but just to mention one: It‘s just not like any other movie out there. It‘s a romantic movie, but not like any other romance. It's a science fiction movie, but not like any other science fiction movie.
It just is a newly interpreted romantic movie, in a great science fiction setting. But the setting and this science fiction world is never too dominant. It actually is very subtle and just helps setting the mood for the story.
The story is very good and works well, because it's a world we can all imagine really existing some day and the characters have to fight problems, we might actually have to fight some day.
Joaquín Phoenix is one of the few actors, that actually makes me believe him. He is one of the few actors, that actually convinces me, that he is this character and he actually goes through the feels, we are supposed to believe he is feeling. In other words: He was great in this, and he is one of the most amazing actors of our time. Scarlett Johansson on the other hand really just expresses herself over her voice, which is one of her most distinctive parts. Her slightly husky voice is just perfect and she really expresses a lot of emotions just by making her voice sound a certain way.
´Herˋ is definitely high up there on my list of movies you definitely need to watch. Well done!
Rocketman might be the best biopic I have ever seen, and that's not because I am an Elton John fan, at least that's not the only reason. It is also the way the movie is crafted
It kind of feels like a musical, since the songs are mostly there to support the plot of the movie. And with that in mind, it's kind of hard to categorize it as a biopic because the timeline of his song releases is not historically correct, but it actually works a heck of a lot better this way, than for example in Bohemian Rhapsody.
The Cast in that movie is pretty good, with some names, that haven't been around for so long but got pretty big in the last few years (like Richard Madden and Taron Egerton for example). But there also are some big names in this movie, who have been famous for quite a bit of time now (Bryce Dallas Howard, for example).
The movie, with great writing and great acting, really shows how difficult it was for Elton to become, who he is today.
This is definitely Marvels most anticipated movie ever, and soon the highest crossing movie of all time. But is it really that good?
Yes! Endgame is definitely one of the best, if not the best movie Marvel published in the last 11 years. In my opinion it's even the best Avengers movie, since there are so many scenes in it fans wished and hoped for since their first fight in New York. Of course the movie mostly contains scenes, that are just there as fan service, but the movies are made for fans. A person, that watches Endgame without being a fan wouldn't probably find it as amazing as a true fan. Is that a problem? It might be, but as I said, the Marvel movies and Comic book movies in general are maid firstly and mostly for fans.
And for a fan Endgame is just a masterpiece, we go the ï¿ 1/2Avengers Assemble!", we got Cap lifting Mijolnir and we got Tony snapping with the Infinity Gauntlet. Sure, there are some scenes that are probably a littleï¿ 1/2.over the top, *caugh* Fat Thor *caugh*.
BUT, Endgame brought the past 11 years to a conclusion, and they finished it with a bang. For me the movie is what cinema is all about!
