Not so good. Not awful. Just.... I dunno... didn't get that exciting. Once stuff started to happen it kinda just all barfed onto the screen and then it was over. The original terrified me but I was 10 and I think there's something creepier about a killer toddler...
I can see why people like this- it is beautiful- but... it wasn't enjoyable. It was slow and weirdly disjointed. It was a ‘good' movie but I didn't like it. (And are we supposed to like that little snot-bag at the end? She was a shitty bully and should have got what was coming.)
How have I never heard of this? And how does it only have 63%? This was one of the most touching, beautiful movies I've ever seen. The synopsis did not give away the big event so if you haven't seen trailers you should be surprised. So good. We need more movies like this.
Cute. Just what you'd expect. The kind of movie I'll recommend to my parents because they're very G-rated people.
I'm thinking the high rating on this is due to nostalgia. I'm 40 and I just watched this for the first time last night, and I have to say it was pretty cheeseball. I always expected it to be a really good drama but instead it was... what it is. Can't explain. Watch it because it's a cult hit but not because you're looking for a great film.
