Well here we are... at the end of it all. I would like to first point out that the first 45 minutes of this film are a 10/10. They are truly some of the best minutes you'll watch in this entire saga. Now with all of that out of the way, I'm going to say what's on my heart. THE REST OF THE MOVIE IS BORING! Like wtf happened to the pacing? It's like it just gave up. One minute you're riding on the back of a dragon and then the next you're listening to someone talk about someone... talk about someone. This movie had a lot of great things going for it and then waste it as soon as they get out of act 1. And don't even get me started on the whole conflict between Harry, Hermoine and Ron. It feels so useless and unearned. It's literally a conflict for the sake of conflict. It isn't growth for anyone and it's on the boarders of character assassination for Ron. Like when they aren't all acting like assholes, the movie is actually able to move forward. The plot begins to progress and everything feels right again. But damn it if that feeling doesn't take a long time to appear. But yeah, as you can probably tell, that "conflict" is my biggest problem with the story. Well, that and pacing, but at least that doesn't make you gag. Other than those two things, the movie actually quite good. It's what I wanted in teh Half-Blood Prince that I didn't get. I definitely think if stopped watching it after HBP (like I almost did) then you should reconsider. This installment is well worth your time.

It's smart, well written, and has some great moments. But it just isn't as memorable as people say.

The Truman Show (1998)
Good. Really good actually. Jim Carey is great, the world building is incredible and the plot is convincing. There are some parts that I might say, "umm... sure. I guess?". But they don't happen often. I reccomend you give this one a try.

You Again (2010)
Fun and cute. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice (2010)
Nicolas Cage is cool and charismatic, but even he can't save this sinking ship of garbage.
