I really liked the acting in this movie. Never mess with a Mama Bear's cubs or she won't stop until you go down-one way or another! Loved the unrelenting passion & resourcefulness of the Mama Bear in turning the fear tables on the killer thugs. Predictable storyline & ending, but highly suspenseful means to that end. The only cheesy part was when her rather large & massively built hubby showed up only to get beaten by a guy half his size-the movie would have been much better without him appearing late into the action-he actually detracted from the movie.
An action-packed enjoyable summertime thriller. Much better than Mission Impossible 6, although Johnson really does perform the impossible rescue. When your family is at stake, anything becomes possible! I was on the edge of my seat, despite the predictable plot & ending. Then again, I'm a huge D. Johnson fan-especially his ability to continually make the impossible, possible!
A tip for reviewers who write long tomes for reviews-No-one reads beyond the 1st paragraph. and not even that if it's obsessively long.
Excellent Marvel movie! Highly interesting plot with a great balance of action, great acting, & humor. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it much better than the first Ant Man movie! Loved how the actors were able to suspend the audiences' disbelief (or at least mine) and draw us into their unbelievable world! One of the very few movies of 2018 that I would actually pay to see again on the big screen. Loved the intrigue at the very end. The Wasp is the perfect Superhero partner for Ant Man. A refreshing stand-alone new Marvel movie duo in the vast sea of wonderfully tried & true MCU Superheroes. Looking forward to their next adventure!
Enjoyed the acting, but a very predictable, although action-packed plot & ending. The movie is also missing the spark of humor that Ethan Hunt has, typically, added. I would have left the movie a cliffhanger leaving the audience wondering what happened to Ethan Hunt-not only would it have provided for some much needed intrigue, but would have left the MI franchise somewhat worthy of another film. I love a good MI story, but there is nothing in this film that has me looking forward to another MI film, unfortunately. If MI writers, producers & directors can't do better than this, they should just kill off Ethan Hunt in an exciting series climax & let the MI franchise die with a shred of dignity.
Also, as an FYI to those who write books or long tomes for reviews-NO-One reads them, so just stop.
