Slow in parts, but still one of the best DC or Marvel films in recent years. I loved the fact that it could be set any time in the past 40 years. There were no i phones in there to cement the story in one era. When he came into his Joker identity I felt like I was watching Caesar Romero. Overall, a great effort on this character. And what great casting compared to the ten year old who played Joker in Suicide Squad
Much better than expected and another reason not to listen to mainstream media critics anymore. Great revenge flick, but don't go and see if squeamish. The end was like a violent x rated version of Home Alone. Stallone doesn't change his style and there's something to be said for that.
Not for everyone! Stupid, manic, insane, and as B movies go this is a great one. Comedy violence at it's best. Shame the sequels never lived up to the first one.
Just seen this on blu ray HD and loved it even more. Perfect pacing, casting, writing and so good to see old London in HD!
2 hours and 40 minutes of Tarrantino self indulgence. Acting was good, film was stylish. When things got interesting it was great stuff, but those moments were few and far between. For the most part it was boring, slow passed and pointless. A bunch of stuff put together that means something to Tarrantino. Loved Resovior Dogs and Pulp Fiction, but if those 2 films never existed Tarrantino would be seen as one of the worst filmmakers of the modern era.
