As a fan of Neil Diamond, you come for the soundtrack because it includes some really classic songs. As a fan of Neil Diamond, you don't come for his acting ability because it's not there. The movie itself was just ok but the acting all the way around was pretty horrid. The soundtrack is really what makes this movie
What makes this movie is the cast that works well together. Horror comedies have become common, but I really liked this movie.
There are some movies, regardless of how classic they are, that prequels are totally unneccesary. This is one of those times. They should change the title of this movie from "Leatherface" to "Blatent Cash Grab"
They Live is one of the rare times that a good, engaging, subversive script with political satire was able to overcome some bad acting and turn itself into a good, watchable movie. The lengthy fight scene was actually kind of hilarious.
This had the potential to be a good movie, but it turned out to be slow moving and seemed longer than it was. There were so many plot points thrown into this movie that some that required more explanation didn't get any explanation whatsoever. it's too bad because I'm usually a very big fan of Woody Harrelson, but this movie just didn't work.
