Fantastic! I'm very glad marvel didn't write it in a dumbed down way so that it makes sense in its own, without the other movies. It has a hell of a lot of characters but it works because the audience is already familiar with them.
I don't understand why so may people love this movie. Everybody says "you just don't get it," "you had to watch it back then," and "it's supposed to be bad, that's the point" and believe me, I can appreciate B-movies that are entertainingly terrible! But why do people enjoy the poorly written dialogue, weird pacing, and long stretches of boredom exclusively in Evil Dead 2?? If the appeal of the movie is that it is unappealing, I just don't understand. I do give the franchise credit for what it did on such a low budget and the novel genre and cinematography it pioneered, I just can't comprehend why it has a 98% rating
