It really found its stride in season 2. That says a lot. It took TNG, DS9 and Voy longer to figure out how the show should be done.
I have followed both positive and negative reviews to see if I want to see this. Everything I have seen tells me this show is just a waste of time. The few clips I've seen as examples further reinforced it.
Quit watching in season 3. Checked in just to see if they had cleaned up the story any. Found it was still just as bad. Moved on. It is a shame that the DC animated shows are so much better than this garbage. The fact that the critics certify this as fresh just says to me that their ratings should be used as a contraindicator.
The constant LGBTQ theme and attack on Trump almost made us quit. I don't care if it's in there, but it is in there to the detriment of all else. The story suffers. The acting is not the best. I found my mind wandering and not being captivated by what I was watching.
We quit watching it. It's not about superheroes. It's about being woke. I'm fine with liberal agendas, but not when it is more important than the actual story, or acting. Supergirl on Justice League Unlimited was way better, and she was only a supporting character there.
