I can't say enough good things about this film. Natalia Dyer was positively brilliant I and might be willing to sit through Stranger Things now, only because she's in it. Who is Karen Maine?? Yes, God, yes - I can't wait to see whatever she does next!
This film is utterly fascinating. I apologize to the UFO buffs among my acquaintances whom I've mocked over the years. The only thing that put me off about this documentary is that one of their most seemingly credible interviewees, Christopher Mellon, the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Staff Director of the Senate Intelligence Committee, is also a producer and cast member of the History Channel's "Unidentified: Inside America's UFO Investigation series." Despite this disappointing piece of information, Mellon's interview is compelling and so are the others. I don't know if we're being visited by folks from another star system or by drones from another dimension, but the very real possibility that we're being looked in on by beings from another world seems too hard to ignore anymore.
I found it hard to get past the product placement for FedEx. On the other hand, almost anything with Tom Hanks in it is worth watching.
Just terrible. One and a half stars only because Elisabeth Moss is in it.
