As soulless and directionless as the life and talent of its main character. And if there's any pretentious point to this dud, that's probably it. Sigh.
More sci-fi than slasher this time around. But a great cast and much hilarity make this a fine sequel. Deserved better at the box office.
It takes a wee while to get going and once it does it seems to be over pretty quickly. Which is a huge shame as some of the set pieces are superb. Kristian is the main focus here and it's frustrating that little is made of the others (especially Sondre, who barely suffers a scratch). A quality sequel none the less.
Formulaic and perfunctory. Humour feels forced. Lacks tension. A bit of a dull dud, imho. Kinda like Thor, pre Ragnarok.
