I loved the premise of this movie as well as the special effects. If not for Covid, I think it would have had a much better outcome, and I hope they make a sequel. I would have liked to see the other superhero type characters fighting alongside Vin Diesel's character rather than against him. I also would have liked to see him become friends with Lamorne Morris' character earlier on in the movie because those two together are awesome. I also really liked seeing Sam Heughan in something other than Outlander (big fan). Not used to seeing him be a villain and without his Scottish accent, but he did great.
This movie definitely had some funny lines, but it went downhill quickly. At least half of the movie from the time they gave the EMT the wrong cooler was just completely ridiculous and took it too far. They should have moved on from there and continued with a different storyline. The characters were likable and funny so it was a missed opportunity for a potentially great film.
I really wanted to like this movie. It had a really cool premise, and could have had real potential. I also love sci-fi and Steve Amell from Arrow. The storyline was ridiculous, and it was just one epic fail after another. The main characters have powers similar to the x-men, however, they use their powers to rob banks and hurts people. The characters are not likeable, in fact they were a bunch of dirtbags, which makes you not want to root for them. The ending was terrible, but then again so was most of the movie. I don't understand why Netflix wastes their time and money making such garbage films. This is just one of many terrible Netflix movies. Doesn't someone read the script and say...this is bad...
I really enjoyed the first half of the movie, but it quickly took a plunging nosedive. The concept was brilliant, and it had so much potential, but ended up being an epic fail. The second half of the film was like a completely different movie, and not in a good way. Do not watch.
