The definition of a slow-burn movie and I mean that in the best way possible. Never resorting to cheap gore or jump scares, but keeping a constant, eerie atmosphere of suspense. Great performances from everyone in the cast and great directing from the first-time writer/director Oz Perkins.
A brutal, realistic take on the Vietnam War with a great cast make this a must-see for fans of war movies.
With an amazing mood and look, a great screenplay and even greater performances, this is truly a near-perfect film.
A great atmosphere full of dread and unease, unsettling visuals, and a great performance by Naomi Watts makes this movie a must-watch for any horror fan, even it could be a little shorter.
With great performances from our two leads, and props Olwen Kelly for outstanding dead-acting, a very creepy atmosphere, and effective scares and great effects make this one of my favorite horror movies of the past 10 years.
