I'm not one for musicals, but this was pretty good. It felt very long, but I was able to understand what was being sung which was a big plus. I also enjoyed seeing this in movie form instead of play form, guaranteeing not even a thought to break the 4th wall. I have never seen this play, never read the book, so in my perspective I thought of this movie as kind of messy. It hopped storylines a lot, as you start out with the main character who is imprisoned, and then a single mother who's trying to earn enough to feed her daughter. There was just too many plot holes and choppiness.
I thought this was great. It was slow in spots and the movie felt long but I was surprised about how it turned out. Dunno if I could watch it again as it's a one-time see kind of show.
Not funny in my opinion. It's was just sorta meh. Best part was the last scene because I was totally taken aback with shock and skipped it. I got a good laugh as I was scarred for life. At least then I felt some real emotion.
I tried, I'm sorry I tried, but I couldn't get through the first 10 minutes. To be fair, I don't like star wars that much so this wasn't much of a surprise but I think I would prefer to watch it. This was just...bad. I know it's a spoof, but I just couldn't get through it.
