It's somewhat passable for a look at the times and that truck scene, but it's glamorization of a double standard age gap relationship with a minor and it's racism against Japanese people make it painful with the nonsensical plot.
It won't make many people LTFAOROFC, but there's something worth viewing with Disney's rebooted self aware look at cliches like done before without being lame.
It's simple and standar without as much temple, but it's still a classic.
The breakfast club is an 80s gem that stands out because of its deep look into adverse adolescent psychology and it's self aware, dark, dry humor.
