I will be honest. The trailer didnt impress and didnt convince me to go to cinema. But unforeseen circumstances made me go to the cinema whatsoever. And after the movie was over, I thought, why was the trailer so bad? I loved the ups and downs T´Challa has to live through in Black Panther. The thing, that the villain tries to enforce is enforced in the end, but by T´Challa himself. The return of Everett Ross was a nice one and I reall appreciate, that he was almost fully included in the movie.
Black Panther shows, that bad people sometimes offer solutions, you then decide for.
The best, that the DCEU offered us since The Dark Knight Rises. Her suite is an earworm and is just as epic, as the movie. It shows, that it is possible to create a movie, mainly about a female hero. And that from a failure-after-failure-machine like DC? Yes, thats possible.
Wonder Woman just nails her origin story and even surprised me, because I expected another failure.
More like Blah Blah Land.
Thinking, that this is another sequel made to create money, i waited three years until I finally decided to watch it. And I wasnt disappointed, it showed us a heartbreaking backgroundstory about Dory and a flashback-trip through Dorys past, that shows us why Dory is, like she is and, why she can do things, she can do.
And the reunion with old friends and her parents almost made a adult cry. Dory is a so much loveable character, she turns a grumpy, egoistic octopus in a lovely friend.
