This is such a great, yet horribly underrated movie. It's creepy, and intense. Not to mention some really amazing character development and a really dreadful sensation throughout. Instead of playing on the overused "there's someone watching us" tone, it brings about a much more terrifying feeling of "nobody is watching." I think this is an amazing movie. My only complaint is that it feels way too short. Sometimes, things happen way too fast, and the pacing feels a little too quick. But, aside from that, this is an amazing characters study that reveals what happens when we are left with nothing but our primal instincts.
I thought Toy Story 3 was the end, but I was glad I was wrong. toy Story 4 is by far the greatest animated film of the year, and one of the best Pixar movies ever. The animation style wildly improves on most other films. The storyline is great, and the script is wonderful. I laughed at least ten times throughout the movie
Possibly the best of the series! The story is top notch, and the acting is wonderful. Though it could have done with one less fight scene, it was an incredible viewing experience. Would absolutely recommend!
The movie was so good. It was a wonderful tribute to a living legend, and it was truly inspiring. If I must give some constructive criticism, I thought (and really hoped) that it would be more of a musical in the sense that the singing would take place only on stage/in a recording studio, like Bohemian Rhapsody or A Star is Born. But, aside from that, it was a truly perfect way to honor Elton.
It's really not terrible, but it's nothing groundbreaking either. Larson's acting wasn't great, granted, and the story seems too familiar, but, after a slow and borderline unenjoyable first half, I laughed, and I enjoyed the film.
