A new cinema experience which is fresh and exciting! You may find yourself being frightened and laughing at the same time! Story is well-planned and cleverly written, love the way how little hints in the props are arranged and shown. Music scoring is able to prove that it's there as an element, not just there to support the visual, the cinematography is pretty catchy at some scenes to enhance the disturbing feels. Overall, a smart and catchy film!
Another strong coming-of-age movie with great depth of layer with the character herself, the Lady Bird. Interesting yet quirky as a whole film with struggle, sex, and brand new perspective discovery throughout late adolescence that Lady Bird had to experience, including her family and friendship conflict. New unique experience.
Considered as coming-of-age movie, this was light, fresh, cute, and easy-to-follow movie about blind adolescent that started to discover his identity, and his sexual life and fantasy. A simple and smooth premise. Forever in love with this movie!
Dramatic! And of course with enough and not too much portion of action to it. Skyfall felt like it still stick to its classic root with a modern and fresh storytelling as well as the visual presentation. Not bad as a whole 007 movie, best part was the credit in the opening accompanied by Adele dramatic and strong voice. Nicely excecuted!
Pretty well-executed as an adaptation movie and the characters themselves were pretty strong and clear with their purposes throughout the movie. Love how the filmmakers portray the terror, tension, love, and sacrifices every character has to face and experience. A good add to the depth and dramatic need. Overall, a pretty complex movie to watch and well-executed visually.
Perfect presentation of slice-of-life in gay community through four different stories with main character from different age range, showing how the struggle, desire, urge, and experience can add layer and depth into the conflict each character has. Visually, it's just average, but I personally forever in love with the representation through well-developed actors and their environments.
Wild! That's the first word that came to my mind after watching this movie. The psychedelic was well-presented through the visual composition and lighting, feel a bit experimental for me, but overall great visual presentation and whole new cinema experience!
Surprisingly slow-moved plot with not so comedic as I expected from Disney movie. Love how the filmmakers pay details to the characters' relationship, life vision, and the visualization of Internet life, the components have strong characteristics on their own. Overall, it's just good.
