Interesting case to be retold and what I personally like was how the story revolve around Cunanan as the main focus, not Gianni who got killed. Intelligently showed how manipulative-with-a-purpose Cunanan was and a little background from his early life. A smart crime series, with again, the complex characters and just perfect amount of dramatic touches. Hands down to this one!
The crossover and the witches VS the antichrist were a strong concept to start with. Kudos to Cody Fern for portraying the antichrist really well, very convincing and cunning. Lastly, we all been disappointed about, the ending. It was quick, anti-climax, and spawn of satan just randomly showed up on random child, unlike Langdon that has explanation. Overall, it was good, not great.
A strong concept as the foundation of this season. The political issue definitely well-supported with the phobia that was experienced by Ally. Evan was doing such great job by portraying multiple characters. Sadly, it was boring and bland with the repetition of chaotic events and depression throughout the season.
50/50 to this season. What I love is the new way of storytelling and the reveal on the finale, what missing for me is the complexity of characters and story I used to enjoy. The anthology part feels like it was added as second layer to support the whole TV show drama. Overall S6 wasn't that bad, I personally feel like it was missing something.
Honestly, I didn't finish this season, cause it kinda losing the terror and thrill that I used to experience by watching AHS. Hotel felt so flat. Shame cause Lady Gaga was a big add to this season and even though she was the main character, it kinda feels bland.
Again, a personal favourite! Probably one of the most emotional season throughout 8 seasons. Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars was on point by portraying her emotional battle and struggle, toward herself, and the show. Nice add to the musical acts and showing multiple conflicts without confusing the audience. Love!
Third season was a bit ordinary and boring to me. Yes, it still has that complex characters alongside with their relation to each other, but Evan's character was just sitting there, such shame cause he was a good actor and not so many to explore from his character. Personally it felt a bit too modern for me visually. Not really bad, but so-so.
One of my personal favourite seasons of all! Asylum was one of the neatest story ever written with complex but not so confusing plot to be enjoyed. The twist was really well-planned, like, it wasn't just a twist to wow you and then bleh. It has complexity, everywhere!
First season! Story was simple, but really well directed and visually it was very neat. Definitely sexy, chilling, and dramatic at the same time. The characters were all COMPLEX and have depth to it, that's why I still love AHS till now, all characters were really well-developed! Murder House was a good and fresh start!
