It was a bit formulaic but not that doesn't make it a bad movie. Less heavy handed social agenda in comparison to Black Panther which is a plus but it is less compelling at the same time. Jude Law is phoning it in as usual compared to Micheal B. Jordan but the film is still top tier. It is a solid film but don't expect it to be an Endgame pre-quel bc that was never its intent.
I feel like the movie didn't completely know what it wanted to be. The story arc feels incomplete by the end of the film and does a setup for future installments but didn't sell itself first. Some good action scenes but just overall didn't have a strong direction.
Very good film with some fantastic acting unit the final 5min. Without spoilers, I didn't agree with Spike's injection of the final scenes that didn't pertain to the specific story the film was telling. Seemed very heavy handed and unnecessary. Adam Driver is amazing as always further proving how much range he has as an actor.
It would be a great origin movie in 2014 but is not up to the current say standards. Some enjoyable moments but overall a bit too long and lacks some character development of supporting roles. Positive step in the right direction for DC but has a long way to go.
The first half of this film is an absolute mess but the second half is very enjoyable. Michelle Williams has zero chemistry w/ Hardy and prolly should of been replaced by someone else. Hopeful for the next film in the franchise.
Fantastic acting performances but is slightly limited by how much of the universe they wanted to tell in the story. It could of used a bit more explanation but overall I would put it a hair above A Quiet Place which it is often compared to.
