I enjoy the Ellen that I see when watching the Ellen Degeneres Show and the one I see when she is hosting the Oscars... I do not like the Ellen in this "comedy" special. The theme was to make her seem relatable but it wasn't presented well. Was more like she goes through everything we go through however she has enough money and power to make those go away. Made it to the 20min mark and had to stop as I was not ready for bed yet. Puts you to sleep literally and that is the truth.
3.75 / 5 or 7.5 /10
This is what I call a GOOD movie. Nothing unexpected but very good cinematography and action. Some emotional scenes and some feel good scenes and good character development for our two protagonists. Plot is foreseeable but nicely presented so you are not mad at it. If someone asks me to watch it again I wouldn't say no.... you feel me? Haha that is the truth.
1 1/2 out of 5 or 3/10
The idea was good but the execution was subpar at best. If it wasn't for Sandra Bullock this movie would have been a total flop. Characters were just getting picked off throughout the movie except the main character and her kids of course. No idea who and what the "monster" was or what people saw. The ending was so bad that I genuinely got mad (rhymminnngg). Two words to sum up this movie.... boring and uneventful. This is the truth.
