This movie doesn't deserve a rating at this point, but it was just awful. I am left dissatisfied and just like the strawberries, the ending was tasteless.
The return of Tom Holland, who seems like a good leader to begin the next generation of Avengers, makes this movie worth watching. Another praise for Zendaya for fulfilling the role of Mary Jane. It also makes us weep for the loss of fan-favorite, Tony Stark, but happy that his legacy lives on.
Mockingjay Pt 2 improved slightly over the last movie. The action was picked up, thriller was back, characters were in put through the inevitable and were seen in different light than in any other movie, sad deaths were included, and the conclusion was satisfying after the gruel and dark events that led up to this happy ending. What sucked was that it was split, dragged the first half, and the hype was a bit too much. Good franchise though! I will forever love The Hunger Games.
Mockingjay Part 1 wasn't the best and it wasn't the worst. The pacing was dreadful, not going to lie, but the acting, political satire, and the emotions were all there to make up for the lack of action - though I wish it was made into one big movie instead of two split parts.
This was a vast improvement over the predecessor. The action was elevated and the new director made this second installment look much more polished and easy to see. It was smart all throughout and gave us more in depth of the Capital. The acting was superb by the talented cast. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
