This film was a boring movie that never went anywhere. I guess if you want to listen to 10 minutes straight of dioloug of stories from like the Bible or something then watch this film. That happens like 3 times.
This is a solid film. Fairly funny and stupidly enjoyable.
This is a very good film. At the beginning I hated it but just get through it because by the end it is all worth it. It ends up being very good. It is one of the few films that can say that it is unpredictable, it leads you one way and that way is stupid, but when you learn where it is really going it is great.
Many problems. First, why tf would you put rap music in, it takes place in the 20s, it does not fit. The film is to much, at points conversions are cut like an action film. The story is also vastly overrated, there are many plot holes that become more noticeable in the film than movie. Like how did she not know he was living there. The story also has a bad understanding of the idea of the American dream. Now the film was well acted at points. Some parts were extremely well acted well some were not. I don't hate the story but it is the most overrated story in American literature. I could get into why but I want to go to bed.
It starts off very bad but this film has much to like. The story with the sister is the best part. The problem is it is weighed down by bad acting, a beginning that fails to set up the rest, and random parts that did not need to be in the film.
