This film was a boring movie that never went anywhere. I guess if you want to listen to 10 minutes straight of dioloug of stories from like the Bible or something then watch this film. That happens like 3 times.
This is a solid film. Fairly funny and stupidly enjoyable.
This is a very good film. At the beginning I hated it but just get through it because by the end it is all worth it. It ends up being very good. It is one of the few films that can say that it is unpredictable, it leads you one way and that way is stupid, but when you learn where it is really going it is great.
Many problems. First, why tf would you put rap music in, it takes place in the 20s, it does not fit. The film is to much, at points conversions are cut like an action film. The story is also vastly overrated, there are many plot holes that become more noticeable in the film than movie. Like how did she not know he was living there. The story also has a bad understanding of the idea of the American dream. Now the film was well acted at points. Some parts were extremely well acted well some were not. I don't hate the story but it is the most overrated story in American literature. I could get into why but I want to go to bed.
It starts off very bad but this film has much to like. The story with the sister is the best part. The problem is it is weighed down by bad acting, a beginning that fails to set up the rest, and random parts that did not need to be in the film.
It was a well acted and filmed movie. It also did have some great times where you did feel a bit scared but more for the characters. Now it does a horrible job explaining wtf is going on and overall the film is just not that great. It is a watchable film though.
Mom gets aids then a worse version of inside out happens.
It was well shot but very predictable. The main character acted like a 3yo kid and they tried to create fear and suspense by using normal forest sounds and making her freak out and hoping it scares you as well. The beginning felt like a completely diff movie from the end. It kinda started off feeling like a shitty Disney channel film before becoming a average b film.
Not great some things did not add up but it made you think one thing was true before subverting expectations and doing the opposite in the end.
This film is for a specific demographic of people, middle aged divorced mothers, a group that I check no boxes for so this film does not resanget with me. I gave it 2.5 stars because while I did not enjoy what the film was I realize that many women would like this film. I did not go for my og 1 star because I can see this is a well made film. The score is great as well as the acting and the plot is simplistic and easy to follow in a good way. It's a small film that does not surprise you, but by the end they do end up surprising in a great way and bringing the character to a good narrative end.
The hangover is just hilarious and has a solid plot.
It just not that interesting. It's stooped in reality and could very well be a true story but once you get past the kidnaping not much happens. It was predictable and I saw what was coming from a mile away but the romance, it's just not believable and did not work. It felt forced. It was just stockholm syndrome. The leads were good in there rolls. There were only 1 or 2 times I felt like they were acting badly. I did enjoy the down to earthness of the film but it's so down to earth that it becomes forgettable. Overall the film keeps you entertained and is a good time filler but not one to buy.
This movie never slows down and keeps a fast and funny pace. One of the best spoof movies ever.
This movie dives perfectly into how people who do horrible things think what there doing is right. He wants to kill the presidential nominee because he is angry at the world and does not believe he will save the city. He believed he was doing right, kinda like lee harvy Oswald, he believed what he was doing was just and while you can make the argument for killing the pimps was right he should have told the cop. Given them the chance to a fair trial. The film is unsettling in how he interacts with others throughout and in a good way. It is a reminder to stay grounded because in the right circumstances anyone could turn into Travis.
The one problem is the chick that lives with him for a while, she just disappeared and never showed up again.
This is a good and interesting film. You never feel much stakes is the main problem though. It well acted.
This is such an average movie it's insane. Lord Garmadon is basically president business. The film is unoriginal in this universe and the same old thing. There are some good jokes but overall not many.
Not scary at all and overall pretty bad. Not as bad as the nun but not good. This movie has the dumbest characters ever. Why not just surround the house with beans to keep her in and move to a cheep house so you can afford both, then just keep the house nice and not sleep there. The ending was bad to. It ends very fast, they completely forget that someone was shot and it affected nothing and all they had to do to defeat her was stab her with a cross. They literally beat her and it end 2 min later. The ending feels very rushed. The story had so much potential. They could have made this much scarier by not relying so much on jump scares and fleshing out the scares. Now net everything was bad. The acting was solid and the visuals were very good. The story with the women who kids got killed was an awesome side plot. They didn't use it enough, but her showing up at the home was great. It was the best part of the movie. This movie was passable but exspect more out of the Conjuring universe coming forward. Hopefully Annabel comes home can help correct the corse of this franchise.
