If you are liberal, you will like it. I couldn't take her whinny, victimhood. The movie touches on her relationship with jerry brown as well as her politics. Both are intertwined throughout the movie. Calling Australians and the English racist, as a blanket statement was a bit of an overreach for me. Her snarky comments About Reagan were a turn off as well.
She had so much to be thankful for including her good looks, nice voice, the fact she was born in America, good family, was in a society that made her wealthy, was born in modern times, not 1,000 years ago, etc. instead she seemed to focus on all the negatives in her life.
Made me smile and enjoyed how they solved problems. They never disclose how much money was invested though, had to be a ton. They also lucked out with all the volunteers. Great to see their hard work and luck pay off. And their farm is gorgeous to look at from above. I don't think the farm would be commercially successful without the volunteers and movie deal and tour money, but great story nonetheless.
