In an era where the MCU is praised for his formulaic movies, watching Batman begins is a breath of fresh air. It is better than any superhero movie of this decade ( i have not watched the dark knight rises). I want this review to do justice to the film yet I can not find words to describe how beautiful and well crafted this picture is.
not the biggest fan of the MCU, but for me, this is the best film I have seen from them. Undeniably entertaining adn amusing.
after I left the theater I asked myself: did i enjoy the movie? and the answer is "meh"... i thought I would probably give it 2.5/3 stars. However, something happened. the next day I talked about the film with my friends who are crazy MCU fans. Seeing the joy, pride and excitement in their eyes while they talk about the movie and seeing how moved they were by every single thing that happened to the characters just made me realize how genius this cinematic universe is. Really, from a marketing strategy, this should be studied worldwide. they were able to connect the audience to fictional characters throughout 22 movies(without most people getting bored). Kudos to Marvel and Kevin Feige. they deserved the hype that was created around this movie. for that, i give this movie 3.5 stars, and i know a critic should only judge the film, but first I had to understand other perspectives. endgame is a terrific show.
This documentary is as captivating as Alex's personality and his peculiar perspective on life. Extraordinary work by the film crew who were able to film this achievement beautifully.
I unfortunately felt entertained during this movie, although I would not recommend it to anyone. I have never seen such a film where the formula of a teenager romcom is followed to the letter: gay best friend, the main character changing his personality and having issues with it, woman who is senseless and eventually finds out she is looking for love, people realizing the right person was in front of them the whole time, the sentimental conversation with a fatherly figure when all goes wrong,... I mean, it is so clichet and fabricated I can not tell you why I enjoyed it.
