was it bad? no. was it good? not really. I understand tarantino's films are different, especially from the films that are put out today, but this just did not hit the ball park for me at all. it's alright, it passes the time and counts as a bitter sweet film for me, I wish it involved sharon tate more. The charles manson story and its evolving cult being shown would have made a much better build up and more sense to what actually happened but instead the film focuses on a chunk of random bullshit about the actor and his stunt double.. and who the heck was the narrator in the end? you can call it brilliance and his finest work all you want but the reality this film was not great and no where near his best, if you think this was his best youre kidding yourself. I did not expect it to be his best, but I expected it to be better than whatever this was... a dissapointment
loved it when it first came out probably because i was a lot younger but watching it again its more of a movie you will enjoy a lot if you get high and have the giggles, it has its moments and its not a terrible film. something i will watch once every few years or so if im in the mood with nothing to do.
