Hard to make a bad movie with these guys, but this opus severely suffers from the comparison to its predecessors.
Pretty funny but ultimately forgettable. Sadly feels like squandered potential, which I did not expect from such a basic theme.
When a movie adds nothing new to an existing franchise, you expect it to have up to date visual effects and/or whitty caracters and dialogs. Sadly, the Meg fails at both.
Is it actually still possible to make such bad superheroe movies after the Avengers movies? Anything looking like this shoud not be released to the theaters in a post-2002-Spiderman era.
Spielberg sticks to his gunss with an innovative concept and cool visual stunts. Pop culture references are definitely a plus, but this is no Inception. Still a Spielberg-quality movie though.
