Loved it absolutely- fall in and go with it and it won't disappoint. A master film maker.
I was so excited to see this movie but found the plot at times unbelievable and most of the characters unlikeable. I really tried to like it after all the Cannes hype and loved parts of it but overall I found the film a far-fetched slog and ultimately unsatisfying. The themes of class inequality were verging on jealousy. I feel the writers and director have never lived in poverty and just imagined how this family would feel. The film Burning also from South Korea is a fantastic film and deals with these issues in a more satisfactory manor.
Almost fantastic but it takes along time to get going - but once you are in their world it's a lovely fantasy.
Loved this film about a guy emotional going down the toilet because of shit all guys go through. Intense, funny, shocking and full of humanity. Sweet as bro!
A filmmaking master class in every way. Watched it last week April 2019 and it's still one of the best thriller/horror film I've seen in years - easy 10/5
