While Shazam! is light in its suspense ,comedy ,action etc etc.. its a refreshing movie from all the other dark themed ,serious toned DCU movies. It was enjoyable until the very point where it nearly became a parody of itself. I hope DCU doesn't replicate this again but i do hope that producers/directors bring more diversity into the DCU where every superhero isn't a douche. Shazam! wasn't great and it watsn't bad. Fun is exactly the word I'm looking for. And that's what Shazam! is. F.U.N...
Ah ,well. How to train your dragon 3 is quite an interesting way to finish things up. I think. Eventhough it had a cute plot line that many teens would get dragged into especially the female kind...there's also alot of action and drama going on to entice the entire audience as a whole. It is only at the very end that you feel sad. And most of that sadness is because you realize that even you are getting older just as the characters are. Overall a good movie.
Disappointed! I miss the style Dragon ball Z had. Not just in animation but also the story build up. This movie has by far one of the best fight scenes that anime could ever produce but as a fan of the series, I expected a good story. They could have done something good here. They only had to tell a story of one guy:BROLY. In which they miserably failed. I mean... they had more than 1h 30min+. The rest of the film is either an epic fight or an irrelevant bardock story. Such a shame!
Another Captain America movie only with a different gender playing the lead role. There was plenty of everything. But misses the mark in almost every aspect. At times the movie felt as if it was just made for the sake of being made. Its passable as a 'okay' movie at best. In Sri lanka the hype was low for the movie and now I know whyï¿ 1/2 1/2 1/2 1/2
