Let's start off with this; phenomenal performance from Joaquin Phoenix. Secondly, Todd Phillips has created one of the best movies in 2019. It's brave of him to take this risky attempt, because the audience have high expectations for an existing character that has been played by different talented actors. The movie has a very different take on the character, as it mixed real life events into the story of Joker. It's very dark but I appreciate the realness of it. The storyline isn't outstanding or mind-blowing though, but it's definitely well thought out and some scenes were worthy to be remembered for a lifetime.
Personally I think it's one of the best Disney live action movies I've watched. It's very entertaining from start to end and the visuals are vibrant and lively. The casting were perfect. The music used were very catchy and overall, this is a great movie choice to watch with your family.
My personal favorite out of the other two. Loved the badass introduction to the character. The tension and fear build up was successful and Keanu was no doubt amazing in playing John Wick. I loved the aesthetic of it and the wordings that would come up on some scenes. It made it seem like it was some sort of a cool gameplay. The movie was action packed and full of amazing stunts. Even though it was a bit violent, it wasn't too much of it which I liked. The only thing that I feel could be improved was showing more of the backstory of his past life. (How his wife died, his assassin job etc.)
This is my favourite Iron Man film out of the other two. Reason being that it's done in an epic scale; with more explosions and action. It's entertaining to watch and keeps you glued to your TV screen. I love how it highlights Tony's struggle with PTSD and anxiety with what he experienced in the past. Overall, this movie is a good closure to the Iron Man films and it never disappoints.
There were so many things that didn't make sense. The ending was abrupt and could've been explained further. There were no climax whatsoever but I must say that the overall idea was good, it just could've been executed better. Personally I feel like the nudity scenes were unnecessary, especially given the information that the character was supposed to be underage. With that being said, I still have to praise India Eisley for playing the character well, she has the appearance that fits the role perfectly. The acting wasn't outstanding, but it was a good attempt. The production quality was also good, it gave me a psychological thriller thrill vibe. However, I wouldn't be interested in watching it twice. The ending will leave you questioning in a way that'll just leave you pissed.
