It's absolutely mandatory that the viewer loves movies with moral dilemmas, if they do this will be a great watch for them. If the viewer really isn't interested in pondering the questions this movie poses they will be bored (to say the least). I do love moral dilemma movies btw
Trust me, ignore the critics, their tomato score; believe the audience score, its a much more accurate score for this movie
This is one of the most underrated movies ever, I say that because it should've been much more critically acclaimed. Johnny Depp is the main reason for that; he steals every scene that he's in and will make you forget he isn't even the main character. The actual main characters mind you, their story is a bit predictable (spoiler alert) they get together in the end, but the chemistry between Kiera Knightly and Orlando Bloom breathes life to an overused love story. If you don't believe that this movie is so good, ask yourself, "Why does Disney keep getting away with making crappy sequels to this?" The answer is because people keep hoping they replicate the magic of this one.
