As an old wrestling fan, this movie brings joy, despite some unnecessary changes from the real life story of Paige.
The eye for detail in this movie is astonishing. The retro style of cinematography that this movie is filmed in gives the exact feel this movie intends to give. DiCaprio's work here is on another level, I would say one of his best performances up to this date and I'm sure will be hearing from this movie again in March.
It's a must-see. From the amazing performance of Miles Teller and J. K. Simmons, to the realistic way that the dedication and ambition for greatness that every artist has gone through at some point of his life are shown, this movie hits every right button and it cements it's legacy as a timeless classic.
There is nothing really memorable about this movie. Just another summer action blockbuster. If you're a fan of the F&F franchise you would probably like the movie, but otherwise you might be better if you skip it.
