Such an incredible tale that started very uninteresting to light-hearted and finally trucking hard. The insight of the American working class and culture clash with the Chinese people is enriching. It is insane the amount of information they got, they truly explore every side and comes to a good conclusion. Truly an experience.
The evolution of the story and emotions are truly felt. Both sides are deeply analyzed and the acting is unparalleled. It is a truly beautiful story.
If you want to fully appreciate the story and understand the suspense built to the climax, you should familiarize yourself with the Sharon Tate murder, the Manson family and it might be useful to know about 1960s Hollywood. It is a Tarantino movie which means there is a lot of filler stuff that appears to have no real purpose in the whole film. DiCaprio's character is very different from his previous work. The word choice is pretty fun.
Very fulfilling to see more true mystery movies coming out. The way the story develops in the movie truly captivates and the resolution, although it requires paying attention, satisfactory concludes the movie.
This is not a feel-good animation. The way the story unfolds is disturbing but very interesting and works to hit you right in the feels. I would recommend it just for that incredible soundtrack.
