All actors were excellent and I was never bored but yet, it was not that enjoyable of movie and not one I would ever, ever watch again. The gratuitous use of the F word and unnecessary themes gave the movie a yuckiness. Moreover, if you are sick and tired of heavy handed feminist leans to remakes, you will roll your eyes several times.
Whoever wrote the dialogue for this movie needs to get more work - elegant, intelligent, witty. Characters are compelling -- sometimes remarkable, sometimes flawed, very human.
What is missing in this movie? Jesse processing the final moments of Felina and how that affected his final view of Walt. What could have been better? An incremental, more believable arc of Jesse coming out of PTSD. Better use of Mike and Walt flashbacks. THE GOOD: Aaron Paul's performance.
