While we have to try new things and explore, it's almost impossible to figure how this one gets by any sort of business case review or argument for being aired. What in the world happened Food Network, you can't possibly have become this desperate or sloppy! The show is unwatchable and hard to imagine it will even finish a single season.
Aside from the occasional academic monday morning quarterbacking and blaming everyone, this is a very well written and produced series. Educational and insightful and all in all does a good balanced job in showing the enormous complexities with global supply chains as well as those created when big money is involved.
What started out (season 1) as a clever and interesting way to entertain and educate, turned into the same old predicable political garbage. Big corporations are bad, governments are noble (except Trump of course), climate change, etc.
