A theatre circus act of a movie, overly numerous and stretched poignancies, implausablability, chartoonish characters, neverending chase scenes, debauched nuances and unbelievable premises mean this is a film that is a spectacle of how spectacular you can make something, not a film with a story.
10 percent critic rating to 50 percent audience tells you everything, Freddy is an acquired taste. If you like it you like it, some people don't like romcoms, but they don't try to watch them. Unbelievable infantile directionless madness with antagonistic humour between Green and Torn playing father and son.
Definitely a watch, cruise supported by an all star cast of great actors, a good story full of content and nice special effects and visual stylings make this all together a good film. The film switches between humor, action and emotion seamlessly giving a thoroughly easy and enjoyable watch that passes all too quickly.
You can polish a turd after all. Very good visuals but even they is ascerbic in nature enough to be dull, very poor story and by that I mean lack of, it could have been condensed into half a hour. The acting is repetetive throughout with a feel of grim monotony, so all in all the film fails to enthrall.
