No matter how often you have seen this movie, it is worth watching again, if for no other reason than the number of times the name "Lundberg" is uttered with vehement contempt and disdain!
I first saw this movie as a very young child. I probably should not have. It affected me very strongly and I wasn't prepared. That strong affect continued as I got older, but I was better able to handle the impact. No question it is a sad movie, but brilliantly done.
This is something of a guilty pleasure, but I enjoyed this movie. It is utterly farcical, don't expect any genuine redemption, although an attempt is made to portray a positive resolution.
