A lighthearted easy watch, goofball and toilet humour, a story of someone trying to better themselves.
Having watched nearly all mafia films and obviously the Sopranos, The Irish man had to be done right, and it didn't disappoint. A fab cast delivered a fab performance based on the book 'I heard you paint houses' interesting and showing a way of life of a few colourful characters. A good watch but you might want a break half way though as this one is long!
Have watched many many films and always endure even the worst to the end, this one was a real test tho. Awful, just awful the only word for it don't even pass the time with it.
I read the book first as so lived up to 80% of what I expected, Eric Bana plays a good role, a good film but didn't quite capture the feel the book.
