Visually stunning that's the NWR mark, very creative plot, this movie contains a lot of references which made it so interesting, subjects like narcissism and the link between supermodels with monsters make this film a good one.
This movie is absolutely fantastic, not the type to recommend to everyone due to its controversial subject, however, if you're seeking for a serious and mature drama then you'd love to see it. Standout performance by both of the girls in the main characters. Authentic movie from start to end perfectly handled by the director despite the controversial subject and with a very realistic screenplay.
The Safdie brothers have created a great indie film with Robert Pattinson's career best work and Benny Safdie making a pretty good performance as the mentally challenged brother. You can feel the anxiousness in the plot by the uncertainty of not knowing what's next and that's the reason you can't get your eyes off the screen.
Ari Aster is an innovative filmmaker in the horror industry, all of his films have bizarre themes and particular plots and this one isn't the exception. This movie is like a waking nightmare, the plot is pretty interesting and the main character played by Florence Pugh is amazing.
Love it or hate it there's no in-between, this movie is fantastic with moments filled of dread and plenty of references which lead you to understand the final scenes, loved the fact of no unnecessary jump-scares and the final open to metaphorical interpretations. Just to finalize gotta mention that outstanding performance by Toni Collette.
